Best Party Ever Invented

My mate Ratty had a birthday party at the big McDonald's in Shrewsbury once. It was epic.

His mum had hired the whole top floor and it was free cheeseburgers, free Fanta and free fries – all afternoon.

Coco the Clown was making sausage dogs out of balloons, I was wearing my new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jumper and Ratty’s mum was getting pelted with gherkins.

Life doesn’t get any better than this. This is the best party ever invented.

Or so I thought.

Then, four years ago, I went to Germany for the World Cup.

Wowsers.

It was so good it blew my Ben 10 socks off, turned my legs inside out and made my eyebrows explode.

It was noisy, colourful, exciting – the football incredible, the stadiums bouncing, the atmosphere raucous. It was immense.

And now it’s about to happen all over again. And I can’t wait.

It’s going to be the brightest, biggest, craziest World Cup of all time.

Forget Ratty’s free burgers and Coco the Clown – the World Cup is the best party ever invented. Bring it on!
