The World Cup is so close I can smell it...actually, I hope that isn’t my bacon sandwich burning!

Anyway, I’ve gone WORLD STARS Fantasy Footy crazy before the tournament starts – I’ve picked my team and created private leagues for the lads in the MOTD office, my mates, family, and my goldfish!

To make sure Lineker can’t give me an atomic wedgie for finishing last, I got some tips from the man who won Radio 1’s MOTD Fantasy Footy league this season – urban music DJ Trevor Nelson.

Here is Trev’s winning formula: “make sure you get a quality keeper, pick Spain striker David Villa, make loads of transfers, and go for players who don’t look tired after a long season!”
